Privacy Policy
How Faith Covenant Christian Center handles the information you share with us.
Last updated 3 August 2026. This explains what we collect through igotfaith.net, why, who can see it, and how to have it removed. We have written it in plain English rather than legal language.
Faith Covenant Christian Center, 375 W Ontario Ave SW, Atlanta, GA 30310. Questions about anything here: connect@igotfaith.net.
What we collect
Prayer requests and praise reports
When you submit one we keep your name, the request or testimony itself, the option you chose for who may see it, and — only if you provide them — your email address and phone number.
Church records
If you are part of the church we keep a record that may include your name and preferred name, email address, phone number, postal address, birthday, the date you became a member, how you found us, the ministries you serve in, attendance at events, and notes a pastor or ministry leader has added.
Your account
If you sign in we store your email address and the name your sign-in provider gives us. We do not create or store passwords — you sign in through a one-time emailed link or through Google.
Learning
If you join a T.H.R.I.V.E. program we record which program and how far through it you are.
Giving
Donations are processed by Stripe on their own pages. Card numbers never reach this website and the church never sees or stores them.
Who can see it
Access depends on a person's role, and the site enforces this rather than relying on good manners:
- The words of a prayer request or praise report can only be read by a super administrator — normally the Pastor. Everyone else with access to church records sees only that a request was submitted and when, never its contents.
- Administrators and ministry leaders with a records role can see contact details and involvement so they can care for people and organise ministries.
- Sensitive administrator actions — deleting a record, changing someone's access, viewing the site as another person — are written to an audit log.
Beyond that, the option you pick when submitting a prayer request or praise report governs how widely it is shared: only the Pastor, the prayer team, or the congregation.
How we use it
To pray for you, to provide pastoral care and follow up with visitors, to organise ministries and events, to run our learning programs, and to keep you informed about the life of the church. We contact you about your own request only if you told us it was okay to.
WhatsApp groups
Our ministry groups run on WhatsApp. We only add you if you ask to be added — for example by ticking the Prayer Line box on a form. An administrator adds you by hand, so your number is visible to that group's members as it would be in any group chat. Ask us any time to be removed.
Who else handles your information
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising. It is stored on our behalf by Supabase (database and files) and served through Vercel (website hosting). Donations go through Stripe, and sign-in may involve Google if you choose that option. Each of these handles data under their own privacy terms.
Cookies
We use one cookie, and only once you sign in, to keep you signed in. There is no advertising or tracking cookie on this site.
Children and youth
We do not knowingly collect information directly from children through this website. Records relating to children and youth ministry are entered by church staff, and a parent or guardian may ask to see, correct or delete them at any time.
How long we keep it
Church records are kept while you are connected with the church, and afterwards only as long as there is a good reason to. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
Your choices
Write to connect@igotfaith.net and we will, within a reasonable time: tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete your record, or stop contacting you. You do not have to give a reason.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
